The Ombudsperson for Children offers lectures and workshops on children's rights in the municipality and region.
We have been working specifically on children's rights since 1988 and have experience of working with organisations in all areas of local and regional government.

A local, independent children's ombudsman
The Ombudsman for Children is a non-profit organisation. We work locally, regionally and nationally, always close to children. Our office is located in Uppsala.
We have a non-profit public partnership with Uppsala Municipality and Region Uppsala.
We are completely independent from local, regional and national authorities. This gives us great opportunities to act in favour of the rights of children and young people.

Lisa works in the areas of outreach, advocacy and information, as well as support cases.
She is the Head of Operations and Human Resources.
Lisa is also the Chair of the Child Protection Council.

- We have customised packages that work in all municipalities and regions, and can adapt arrangements for other activities.
- Training is free of charge for organisations in Uppsala municipality and Region Uppsala. This also applies to independent/private organisations in areas such as preschools, schools, social services, care and healthcare.
