The youth magazine Word has been produced by and for young people in Uppsala since 2006. Word wants to strengthen young people's opportunities to influence and participate in Uppsala's social life.
The magazine is part of the Ombudsman's work to strengthen the voices of children and young people.
Word has been available since 2006 and is available in all upper secondary schools in Uppsala and is distributed to decision-makers in the municipality. It can also be read in public libraries and leisure centres, among other places.
